PUBLIC WORKSHOPS JAN 24 & 26

The community of Winchester and Clark County are working together to develop a comprehensive plan that will identify goals, policies and action steps to guide development for the next 20 years. The community needs your help deciding what is best for the future, so this is your chance to share your ideas for how Winchester and Clark County should grow! Where should new development be located? Are there issues relating to the use of the land, housing or transportation in the community that you can tell us about? What other items should be considered?

The Winchester/Clark County Comprehensive Plan will serve as a statement of the community’s vision, providing direction for future development within the community. It will also include an analysis of existing conditions, articulate goals, form strategies for land use, transportation and community facilities, and provide specific action steps to be taken over the next 20 years.

The Comprehensive Plan is driven by public input and there will be two public kick-off meetings to gather the community’s ideas, comments and feedback! The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 24th from 5:00-7:00 PM at The Clark County Library, and the second meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Hall’s on the River. The entire community is invited to attend, so if you’re an engaged resident or business owner who wants to be a part of planning the community’s future please join us! People of all ages are encouraged to attend, so bring the family and help plan the community’s future. We hope to see you there!
